(MPEG1)
Aspect: Letterbox
, Medium and Pan Scan convert 16:9 to 4:3. Full doesn't correct the
aspect ratio. If you have a 4:3 DVD Use Full. Default is :
Letter Box (4/3)
Format : This is the output
format. PAL, NTSC 23.97Hz. or NTSC 29.97Hz . Avoid conversion between
NTSC and PAL.
Size: This allow you to split
the output file. You can set the type of volume you want (74 or 80Min
VCD or ISO) , On a VideoCD you can write volume up to 730Mb (may be a
little bit more but if you increase this value, data will fill the
entire CD up to the side which is a more fragile part ). BackupDVD
creates the first volume with the specified output name and all
following volume will be named as name XX.mpg, where XX is the volume
number.
Subtitle: Show subtitle.
Volume: Gain of the audio
output. No normalization is performed. A value of 1 can't generate
distortion (cracking) but the output sound may be very low. The default
give a good volume for most DVDs. Make few clip of the movie where you
know the volume is high and adjust this value in order to get a good
volume.
Default is : 3:00
CPU calculation: If you are
using Intel MMX Processor select MMX. To do not perform MMX calculation
choose Normal. If you have AMD Processor use MMX + 3DNow.
Language: You can able to use
this program in your language.
Buffer Settings :
Buffer Settings : Create a
temporary buffer to avoid the drive to be switched on/off too much.
Concerning performance RAM buffer is faster, if you set a large RAM
buffer, disable the virtual memory (Windows system settings) to get
better speed. Default buffer Size is 10 MB.
